This page contains an index of motorcycle rides I have taken over the years. I have listed a brief description of each trip below. Some of the pages contain lots of pictures so please be patient as they load. |
This trip traveled through the beautiful Yosemite National Park. You will see pictures of bikes with mountain backdrops. It will take you past high elevation lakes, through mountain tunnels, up close view of the famous "Half Dome" rock formation, and finish up with a breathtaking waterfall just outside of Yosemite village. |
The photos on this page were taken during one of my trips to the "Laughlin River Run" held each year in April. Over 5,000 motorcyles converge upon this small desert town by the Colorado river bordered by Nevada and Arizona. |
This trip takes you through the Colorado Rockies past the ski resort town of Telluride. It followed the San Juan highway over many 10,000 ft elevation passes. We continued down to Cortez and across to Durango before heading back north to the Gunnison and the Black Canyon Nat'l Monument area. |
Wendover, Nevada is a border town in the desert located on the Utah/Nevada state line. They hold an annual MDA Run to benefit children in need. This was only a day ride but proves to be lots of fun. |
This page contains many ride pics from the Southern Cruisers Riding Club, Conroe, Texas Chapter. I ride with a great bunch of guys. As of January, 2002 we have 214 members locally in Conroe and growing. At the National level the SCRC has well over 14,000 members. Not bad for a club that only started 4 yrs ago. |
This trip was actually a stop off on the way to the Laughlin River Run. It's small but deserved it's own page. |
We passed through Lake Tahoe on our way to Yosemite Nat'l Park. This is a huge lake nestled in the mountains near the border of Nevada and California. The trip around the lake took the better part of a day of riding. We cruised through many small towns on the edge of the lake and stopped for lunch befoe heading on to Yosemite. |
This area is located on the eastern California border. The giant redwood trees are thousands of years old. The people in the photos aren't miniature the trees are just huge. |
